Translator at GEOSTEERING Ltd., Krasnoyarsk, 06.2023–02.2024
Field: Oil and Gas Industry
Translated software documentation, technical support manuals, and promotional materials into English and Spanish, occasionally into Russian. I also corrected the company website translation on WordPress and worked with terminology in a specialized oil-and-gas domain.
Created and maintained a multilingual glossary of terms with definitions and usage examples. To support this work, I developed a tool that searched for examples of term usage in context within a corpus of translated texts.
Web Developer at Seoslon, Krasnoyarsk, 09.2024–10.2025
Supported and improved more than 30 websites on WordPress, 1C-Bitrix, OpenCart, and other platforms. This work required careful reading of requirements, precise written communication, and frequent coordination with SEO specialists, designers, managers, and clients.
The development role strengthened the same qualities that matter in translation: attention to context, consistency, terminology discipline, and the ability to understand complex systems quickly. It also gave me practical experience with website localization, CMS content, parsing and structuring large volumes of data, and technical documentation.
